Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Arthur Allen could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Selected nude studies changed hands for USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,071.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Albert Arthur Allen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2003 by the work Selected nudes studies from the series The Model at USD 5,975.00 (€ 5,543.19).
