This artwork by Alan Reynolds achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Winter Saga sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,068.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Reynolds achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Legend in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,236.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alan Reynolds erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Winter Saga für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.068,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Reynolds erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Legend im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 162.236,48).
