In April 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Hillside, May Evening by Alan Reynolds. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,666.55), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Reynolds achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Legend in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,236.48).

Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hillside, May Evening von Alan Reynolds zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.666,55) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Reynolds erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Legend im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 162.236,48).
