Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tooth Transport by Alan Gouk was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,917.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alan Gouk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2006 the work Wheatear Marigold was auctioned for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,781.01).

Die Arbeit Tooth Transport von Alan Gouk kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.917,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alan Gouk konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2006 die Arbeit Wheatear Marigold für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.781,01) versteigert.
