Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Witch Flight No.2 (Opus O.1544) by Alan Davie was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,642.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goddess Of The Green in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,000.00 (€ 347,544.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Witch Flight No.2 (Opus O.1544) von Alan Davie kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.642,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Davie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goddess Of The Green im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.000,00 (€ 347.544,02).
