Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2004 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Abstract In Black And White by Alan Cote. The price achieved of USD 717.00 (€ 588.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Alan Cote have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2013 the work Fallen Tree: A Diptych was auctioned for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,146.88).
