Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Outline by Alan Charlton was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,281.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Charlton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Channel Painting no.4 in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 56,060.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Outline von Alan Charlton kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.281,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Charlton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Channel Painting no.4 im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 56.060,22).
