A top price for Alan Bee
In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Generation 21 by Artcurial, which included the work Freewoman - 1998 by Alan Bee. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,120.00. With this result, Freewoman - 1998 is even the most expensive work of art by Alan Bee that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Alan Bee
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit Freewoman - 1998 von Alan Bee zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Freewoman - 1998 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alan Bee, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
