Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction From Beuys to Warhol | ONLINE ONLY, which included this untitled work by Alain Clément. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 323.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alain Clément achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Oceane V, 85 A 6 P - 1985 in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 3,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion From Beuys to Warhol | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alain Clément zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 323,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alain Clément erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Oceane V, 85 A 6 P - 1985 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.640,00.
