Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Objects Of Study / Hashem El Madani / Studio Practices, 2006 by Akram Zaatari was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,255.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Akram Zaatari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „The Times of Struggle“. in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Objects Of Study / Hashem El Madani / Studio Practices, 2006 von Akram Zaatari kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.255,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Akram Zaatari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „The Times of Struggle“. im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
