Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Untitled B 1484 by Akkitham Narayanan. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,200.00 (€ 3,063.23). Admittedly, works by Akkitham Narayanan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green And Red in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,036.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled B 1484 von Akkitham Narayanan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.200,00 (€ 3.063,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Akkitham Narayanan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green And Red im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.036,45).
