Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Drawing of a child by Akira Kito. The price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 718.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Akira Kito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hundertwasser Et Youko in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,609.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drawing of a child von Akira Kito zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 718,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Akira Kito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hundertwasser Et Youko im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.609,58).
