This artwork by Ahn Sung-Ha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work without title sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 37,924.45) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ahn Sung-Ha; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cigarette - ashtray sold at auction in May 2006 with the realized price of HKD 384,000.00 (€ 38,570.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ahn Sung-Ha erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 37.924,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ahn Sung-Ha; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Cigarette - ashtray im Mai 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 384.000,00 (€ 38.570,56).
