Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Cigarette - Ashtray by Ahn Sung-Ha for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,754.30). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahn Sung-Ha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cigarette - ashtray, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 384,000.00 (€ 38,570.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cigarette - Ashtray von Ahn Sung-Ha für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.754,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahn Sung-Ha mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cigarette - ashtray beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 384.000,00 (€ 38.570,56) versteigert wurde.
