Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Artcurial in Marrakech held the auction A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art, which included the work Le Bonheur by Ahmed Louardiri. The price achieved of MAD 221,000.00 (€ 19,335.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ahmed Louardiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musique Et Joie, which sold at auction in November 2014 for EUR 73,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Marrakesch die Auktion A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bonheur von Ahmed Louardiri zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 221.000,00 (€ 19.335,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Louardiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musique Et Joie beobachtet, die im November 2014 für EUR 73.720,00 versteigert wurde.
