Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ahmed Alsoudani could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 313.00 (€ 356.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ahmed Alsoudani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdad I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 825,451.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ahmed Alsoudani konnte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 313,00 (€ 356,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ahmed Alsoudani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdad I im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 825.451,23).
