Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Festival by Ahmed Shibrain was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,865.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ahmed Shibrain have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition No.22 in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 47,750.00 (€ 53,305.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Festival von Ahmed Shibrain wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.865,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ahmed Shibrain auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition No.22 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.750,00 (€ 53.305,11).
