A top price for Ahmed Shibrain - as previously expected
The work Composition No.22 by Ahmed Shibrain was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 47,750.00 (€ 53,305.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Composition No.22 is the most expensive artwork by Ahmed Shibrain that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Composition No.22 von Ahmed Shibrain kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.750,00 (€ 53.305,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Composition No.22 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ahmed Shibrain, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
