In April 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Portrait Of The Second Condesa De Castroterreño, Half-Length by Agustin Esteve y Marques. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,391.49), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agustin Esteve y Marques achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Young Woman Holding Two Roses in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 384,000.00 (€ 284,023.67).

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of The Second Condesa De Castroterreño, Half-Length von Agustin Esteve y Marques zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.391,49) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agustin Esteve y Marques erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Woman Holding Two Roses im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 384.000,00 (€ 284.023,67).
