Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Travellers resting in an extensive wooded landscape by Agostino Aglio was sold in the Impressionist and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,725.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Agostino Aglio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A group of stone pines near Tivoli, seen from Villa Adriana in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 15,062.68).

Die Arbeit Travellers resting in an extensive wooded landscape von Agostino Aglio wurde im Juni 2000 in der Auktion Impressionist and 19th Century Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.725,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
