A top price for Agan Harahap
This artwork by Agan Harahap achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Octopus' Garden sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,776.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. This high result makes Octopus' Garden the most expensive artwork by Agan Harahap that we have observed at auctions so far.
