Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Everyday Living by Affandi. The price achieved of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 84,094.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Affandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Borobudur And The Sun in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,800,000.00 (€ 1,153,256.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Everyday Living von Affandi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 84.094,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Affandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Borobudur And The Sun im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.800.000,00 (€ 1.153.256,70).
