Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Troikas running in a winter landscape by Athanas Ivanovich Scheloumoff. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,766.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Athanas Ivanovich Scheloumoff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work On The Scent was auctioned for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,922.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Troikas running in a winter landscape von Athanas Ivanovich Scheloumoff zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.766,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Athanas Ivanovich Scheloumoff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit On The Scent für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.922,95) versteigert.
