Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Franz Theodor Aerni could be acquired at Il Ponte in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Il mercato changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Theodor Aerni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day In The Park in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,681.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Theodor Aerni konnte im April 2015 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Il mercato für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Theodor Aerni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Day In The Park im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.681,90).
