In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Her Pet Parakeet by Adrien de Boucherville. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,814.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrien de Boucherville have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French The Attentive Guests in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 54,013.56).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Her Pet Parakeet von Adrien de Boucherville zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.814,71) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
