Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,541.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrien Dauzats - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French A Street Scene In Old Cairo Near The Ibn Tulun Mosque, which sold at auction in March 2009 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,278.41).

Die Arbeit Three Robed Men; Four Men in Egyptian Dress von Adrien Dauzats kam im April 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.541,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrien Dauzats mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French A Street Scene In Old Cairo Near The Ibn Tulun Mosque beobachtet, die im März 2009 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.278,41) versteigert wurde.
