Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A polderlandscape at dawn by Adrianus van Everdingen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrianus van Everdingen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A horseman on a forest path, which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 4,375.00.

Die Arbeit A polderlandscape at dawn von Adrianus van Everdingen kam im Januar 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrianus van Everdingen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A horseman on a forest path beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert wurde.
