Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A figure on a village track by Adrianus van Everdingen was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2006. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,770.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrianus van Everdingen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A horseman on a forest path, which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 4,375.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.770,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
