Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of 3 Sisters by Adriana Oliver was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 22,460.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adriana Oliver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Joey Thye in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of 3 Sisters von Adriana Oliver wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 22.460,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriana Oliver auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Joey Thye im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
