Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Nightlight by Adriana Oliver. It changed hands for a price of HKD 88,900.00 (€ 10,409.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriana Oliver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Joey Thye in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nightlight von Adriana Oliver zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 88.900,00 (€ 10.409,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriana Oliver erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Joey Thye im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
