Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Russian artillery charging through the snows of East Prussia by Adrian Jones for GBP 375.00 (€ 441.72). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Last shot at glory; and Making a break in August 2011 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,928.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Russian artillery charging through the snows of East Prussia von Adrian Jones für GBP 375,00 (€ 441,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Last shot at glory; and Making a break im August 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.928,94).
