Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half-Length, Wearing A White Ruff by Adriaen Thomasz. Key was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,379.57). Admittedly, works by Adriaen Thomasz. Key have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait de femme à la coiffe blanche ; Portrait d'homme barbu in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half-Length, Wearing A White Ruff von Adriaen Thomasz. Key kam im Juli 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.379,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaen Thomasz. Key auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait de femme à la coiffe blanche ; Portrait d'homme barbu im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
