Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Peasants drinking and playing cards in a tavern by Adriaen Rombouts. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 6,007.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Adriaen Rombouts have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2005 the work Peasants Smoking And Drinking With Children Making Music And An Old Woman In An Interior was auctioned for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,699.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants drinking and playing cards in a tavern von Adriaen Rombouts zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 6.007,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Adriaen Rombouts konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2005 die Arbeit Peasants Smoking And Drinking With Children Making Music And An Old Woman In An Interior für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.699,22) versteigert.
