Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fray en Leelijck : a blind man playing a pipe and a peasant woman playing a hurdy-gurdy by Adriaen van de Venne was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 139,261.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van de Venne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A Frozen River, Prince Maurits Of Orange-Nassau With A Hunting Party In The Foreground in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,308,000.00 (€ 1,942,681.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fray en Leelijck : a blind man playing a pipe and a peasant woman playing a hurdy-gurdy von Adriaen van de Venne wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A Frozen River, Prince Maurits Of Orange-Nassau With A Hunting Party In The Foreground im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.308.000,00 (€ 1.942.681,93).
