This artwork by Adriaen van de Venne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2017. In the Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Fighting Beggars - En Brunaille sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,387.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van de Venne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A Frozen River, Prince Maurits Of Orange-Nassau With A Hunting Party In The Foreground in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,308,000.00 (€ 1,942,681.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adriaen van de Venne erzielte im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Fighting Beggars - En Brunaille für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.387,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen van de Venne erzielen.
