Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double Portrait Of A Man And A Woman, Called Van Bueren by Adriaen Hanneman was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 35,682.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriaen Hanneman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of An Officer, Possibly Robert Davies (1616-1666), which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 68,500.00 (€ 88,182.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double Portrait Of A Man And A Woman, Called Van Bueren von Adriaen Hanneman wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 35.682,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adriaen Hanneman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of An Officer, Possibly Robert Davies (1616-1666) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für GBP 68.500,00 (€ 88.182,22) versteigert wurde.
