In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work The Hudson River, New York by Adriaan Lubbers. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adriaan Lubbers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hudson River, New York von Adriaan Lubbers zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaan Lubbers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
