Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work French The Rehearsal by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,985.89). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baptism of the Condé in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 292,246.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French The Rehearsal von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.985,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baptism of the Condé im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 248.000,00 (€ 292.246,05).
