Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work French the Pink Ribbon by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel for USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,889.94). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baptism of the Condé in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 292,246.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French the Pink Ribbon von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel für USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.889,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baptism of the Condé im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 248.000,00 (€ 292.246,05).
