Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work French nymphe Et Satyre by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,363.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baptism of the Condé in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 292,246.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit French nymphe Et Satyre von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.363,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baptism of the Condé im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 248.000,00 (€ 292.246,05).
