Auction result well in line with expectations
In January last year Sothebys in New York held the auction The European Art Sale Part II, which included the work A View of the Grand Canal, Venice by Adolf Sukkert. The price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,990.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolf Sukkert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Piazzetta, Venice, Looking Towards The Piazza San Marco in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,819.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The European Art Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View of the Grand Canal, Venice von Adolf Sukkert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 8.990,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolf Sukkert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Piazzetta, Venice, Looking Towards The Piazza San Marco im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.819,00).
