Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Discovery on Sunset, which included the work Onoranze a Volta by Adolf Hohenstein. The price achieved of USD 612.00 (€ 574.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Hohenstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tosca in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,696.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Discovery on Sunset durch, in der auch die Arbeit Onoranze a Volta von Adolf Hohenstein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 612,00 (€ 574,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Hohenstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tosca im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.696,86).
