Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction GERMAN PICTURES, FURNITURE AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work A village in a summer landscape by Adolf Dressler. The price achieved of NLG 3,525.00 (€ 1,632.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolf Dressler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bewaldete Teichlandschaft, which sold at auction in May 2016 for EUR 4,257.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion GERMAN PICTURES, FURNITURE AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village in a summer landscape von Adolf Dressler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 3.525,00 (€ 1.632,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolf Dressler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bewaldete Teichlandschaft beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für EUR 4.257,00 versteigert wurde.
