Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Winter Trip. by Konstantin Stoilov was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in May 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Stoilov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 22,501.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Winter Trip. von Konstantin Stoilov im Mai 2011 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.800,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Stoilov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.680,00 (€ 22.501,18).
