Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Konstantin Stoilov could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century European Art auction, the work Gold Transport In Siberia changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,895.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Stoilov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 22,501.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Stoilov konnte im Januar 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Gold Transport In Siberia für USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.895,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Stoilov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Russian Caravan racing in the Snow beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für USD 28.680,00 (€ 22.501,18) versteigert wurde.
