Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art | and CCA Lagos Benefit Auction, which included the work Sisiku AyukTabe, the Martin Luther King Jr. of Ambazonia by Adjani Okpu-Egbe. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,408.08). Other works by Adjani Okpu-Egbe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 24,390.00 in June 2021 for the work Bearing Witness To Dystopia: Multigenerational Genocide, Fascism, And Rumours Of Civil War (Diptych), 2020.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art | and CCA Lagos Benefit Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sisiku AyukTabe, the Martin Luther King Jr. of Ambazonia von Adjani Okpu-Egbe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.408,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Adjani Okpu-Egbe haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.390,00 im Juni 2021 für die Arbeit Bearing Witness To Dystopia: Multigenerational Genocide, Fascism, And Rumours Of Civil War (Diptych), 2020 beobachtet.
