This artwork by Adelheid Dietrich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2002. In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Floral Still Life: A Pair of Works sold for USD 107,550.00 (€ 102,575.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adelheid Dietrich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life with Flowers sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of USD 252,000.00 (€ 187,318.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adelheid Dietrich erzielte im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Floral Still Life: A Pair of Works für USD 107.550,00 (€ 102.575,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adelheid Dietrich; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 187.318,81).
