Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online, which included the work Boatshed, 1946 by Adelaide Perry. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 2,337.00 (€ 1,424.41), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adelaide Perry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Marilla in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,656.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Fred and Elinor Wrobel Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boatshed, 1946 von Adelaide Perry zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 2.337,00 (€ 1.424,41) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adelaide Perry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Marilla im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 31.200,00 (€ 18.656,87).
