This artwork by Adam Cullen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in May 2005. In the CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work The Best Person to Keep an Eye on your Symptoms is You sold for AUD 10,157.50 (€ 6,243.87) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adam Cullen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bedtime TV, 2000, which sold at auction in August last year for AUD 34,440.00 (€ 23,493.79).

In der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit The Best Person to Keep an Eye on your Symptoms is You für AUD 10.157,50 (€ 6.243,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adam Cullen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bedtime TV, 2000 beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für AUD 34.440,00 (€ 23.493,79) versteigert wurde.
