Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Manifiesto De Luz by Ada Balcácer for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,882.40). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ada Balcácer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Filtro de luz sobre paisaje, which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,725.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Manifiesto De Luz von Ada Balcácer für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.882,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ada Balcácer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Filtro de luz sobre paisaje beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.725,60) versteigert wurde.
